About Annah Toates

If you know Annah Toates, you know she’s most in her element at the closing table. Connecting with clients as they navigate a complex closing or Will signing brings her great joy. She loves people and strives to provide them with exceptional legal service that brings them joy in return. Annah loves to do her own closings, a growing rarity in this industry. So, when you schedule a closing with her, it’s highly likely she’ll be the one you see on closing day.

Annah earned her undergraduate degree from Furman University (2011) and her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law (2015). At Charleston School of Law, she was a merit scholarship recipient, CALI Award Winner, Student Bar Association President, Pro Bono Service Award recipient, and alumna inductee of the Forensic Club.

Upon graduation, she worked as an associate for six years at another established firm in Greenville, South Carolina, where she made many dear friends. Honored to be named among the “Best and Brightest Under 35” by Greenville Business Magazine (2017), Annah has also served on the board for Sterling Hope Center and been a United Way Young Professional. Currently, she is a Furman University Young Benefactor and serves on the Board of Directors for Homes of Hope.

Outside of the office, Annah loves to spend time with her husband Patrick, her two precious sons, Shepherd and Elias, and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Pepper. She loves Wheel of Fortune, adventuring around the Upstate, and watching college football (especially the Oklahoma Sooners and Clemson Tigers – yes, it’s complicated!). Annah is an active member of Grace Church’s Pelham Road Campus and a member of Thornblade Country Club.
